This month, we hit the road with our JET branded Ramadan bus, traveling to five key locations across the UK, including London and Birmingham, to celebrate Ramadan with our incredible courier community. ?? Our UK-wide Iftar tour was all about creating a warm, welcoming space where couriers could come together to break their fast. They enjoyed delicious meals from GDK (German Doner Kebab) and received Iftar kits filled with dates, samosas, and refreshing drinks to take home. A huge thank you to everyone who made this tour possible and to those who joined in to celebrate. Just Eat is further expanding its on-demand business and entering into an exclusive partnership with the Bonne Maman Boutiques & Cafés - Cupcake Affair GmbH?????? Starting today, customers in Basel, Bern, Winterthur, and Zurich can now get #BonneMaman cupcakes and other sweet baked goods delivered right to their doors in under 45 minutes. New data from Just Eat reveals a significant shift in consumer habits with retail orders doubling in just a year across the UK and Ireland, as customers use the app for a range of occasions outside of traditional takeaways - from everyday essentials and working from home emergencies to last-minute gifting. The number of restaurants and retailers listed on #JustEat grew by 15% in the UK last year, creating more choice and value for 18 million UK customers. Today, we launch two significant partnerships - Rowlands Pharmacy, initially in 19 sites nationwide, and gaming and electronics retailer CeX Webuy.com, rolling out in almost 400 UK stores Claire Pointon, Managing Director of Just Eat UK & Ireland, said: “Shopping habits are evolving as people demand greater speed, convenience, and choice. In 2023, we received thousands of applications for our Early Careers Programme, and from this, we welcomed 38 talented individuals across 10 business areas, including Product Management, UX, Software Engineering, Infosec, and more. From day one, our ECAs have demonstrated ambition, innovation, and adaptability, growing their skills - collaborating across teams, and making a real impact at JET.
