After moving from Florida to Kentucky for work, she joined the Junior League of Louisville to expand her circle and find meaningful ways to give back. ?? "I wanted to find ways to participate in and give back to my community in ways that promote the growth of others and myself." ?? When she’s not getting involved in JLL, Olivia stays busy with her two adorable (and very fluffy) cats, Toulouse & Pastrami ????. She also has a passion for crafting and baking ??, whipping up delicious sourdough treats for her neighbors, friends, and her partner’s family. Sustainer Spotlight: Aerialist and World Champion Carter Webb The Junior League of Louisville is thrilled to spotlight one of our incredible sustainers, who embodies resilience, passion, and the spirit of lifelong learning. Since discovering pole and aerial arts at 30, she has spent the past 11 years pursuing her artistry, training locally with Louisville Turners Circus and Suspend Louisville, and achieving success on the world stage—all while balancing a thriving career as a leader in a Fortune 50 health insurance company, driving clinical quality strategies to improve patient outcomes. Her journey to becoming a 2024 World Champion in Artistic Aerial Pole PRO is nothing short of inspiring. Competing in both the POSA World Aerial Arts Championship in Greece and the IPSF World Pole & Aerial Championship in Sweden, she earned: ?? Gold in Amateur Silks Art (POSA) ?? Silver in Amateur Hoop Art (POSA) ?? Gold in Artistic Aerial Pole PRO (IPSF) Her journey has not been without challenges. Dubbed the "comeback kid," she has overcome significant setbacks, including a double mastectomy, cervical spine injury, hamstring tear, ATFL tear, and labrum tear. These experiences shaped her focus, shifting from mastering every skill to creating memorable, joy-filled performances that deeply connect with audiences. A true example of determination and grit, she shows us that it’s never too late to pursue new passions and achieve greatness. The Junior League of Louisville celebrated Find the Good Day on September 19th by volunteering at the Boys and Girls Haven. We spent time with kids and teens, making ice cream and playing bingo, sharing moments of fun and connection. It’s always fulfilling to see the positive impact we can make in our community by spreading kindness and joy.
