Many thanks to Christina Hachikian, Clinical Associate Professor of Strategic Management at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, for the incredible presentation on impact measurement at our Community Partner Summit with 7 different community partners in attendance. Her deep insights and practical approach to evaluating and demonstrating the true value of measuring nonprofit impact were enlightening and thought-provoking.

This past weekend, thirteen Junior League of Chicago members joined Junior Leagues across the country at Association Of Junior Leagues' Advocacy & Leadership Institute, held right here in Chicago! The Institute focused on empowering Junior League members with the tools and knowledge to drive effective advocacy. From workshops on building public awareness campaigns to sessions on lobbying and the power of storytelling, our members dove into an agenda designed to elevate women’s voices in civic leadership. Attendees explored pathways to elected office, learned strategies for community impact, and networked with like-minded women leaders, including insights from Amanda Dilulis of She Should Run. We’re so proud of our JLC representatives and can’t wait to see how their experience will further empower our League’s mission to advocate for sustainable change in Chicago!
