This week, 10th and 11th-grade 3DE students and staff from Northeast High School presented to the Northeast Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, showcasing the incredible impact of the 3DE model at their school. By reengineering high school education to be more relevant, experiential, and connected to the real world, 3DE is empowering these students with the skills and confidence they need to thrive beyond the classroom. What a way to start the day today…. In case you didn’t know, Children's Mercy Kansas City is a JA Biz Town partner and sponsor at Junior Achievement of Greater Kansas City. A few members of the Office for Community Impact and myself stopped by for a meeting. Students (youth) must be exposed to various careers, while young, and have the opportunity to see themselves in the role. They are undoubtedly our future leaders and one may be the next individual who develops a cure for a rare disease.
