How do you grow your business through new customer acquisition? Google’s new tools for customer acquisition could change the game. Here’s how: 1???Bid higher for new customers? This is a simple way to start attracting fresh leads while still driving purchases from everyone. 2???Bid higher for high-value new customers? This beta tool helps you find your?best?customers. If this sounds like something you need, talk to your Google rep to get access. 3???Bid only for new customers? We’re seeing success with this approach, but it requires testing. It’s a great way to grow your business using Google’s AI-driven tools. Pro Tip:?Keep your customer lists updated. Google uses them to identify who’s already a customer and target new ones. Without this step, the strategy won’t work. Ready to level up your campaigns? To hear the full breakdown of these tools and how we use them most effectively, check out the full conversation on YouTube. Search Jump 450. Thank you to Google Ads expert and Acquisition Manager at Jump, Eric Herzog.

Not sure where to start with your creative testing? Should you focus on the concept first—or the channel placement and video length? Here’s the truth: Different types of creative attract different types of users. Instead of obsessing over creating a flawless Instagram Reel that’s under 60 seconds, focus on this:?Let the algorithm do the work. Use placement asset customization. Let the platform test your video across placements. Analyze the results. If short videos crush it on Reels, then you’ll know where to double down. Stop guessing what works—let the data guide you. Thanks Dave Armstrong, Senior Director of Social Media Performance at Jump 450

"How do you keep a sense of novelty in the customer experience?" Adriaan Zimmerman, Founder of Ned & Co (among others) highlights this "novelty" as the missing 'retention" piece for many DTC brands. "We were 80% reoccurring subscription revenue. Ned became kind of a poster child to what a good DTC experience could be." Adriaan shares. They did this through a number of different mechanisms BUT it was their gifting program that made a big splash. "We would see the biggest drop-off point was between order one and order two for customers." And so they began including a note with order one that simply said: something special is coming in your next order. "And that skyrocketed retention for order two. It's just kind of like common sense. Reward people who are with you." Is your own customer journey lacking novelty? What are the most effective ways you retain customers? What do you think of this strategy of a "gifting program?"

Who owns the data? It’s not as simple as it sounds. First, where does the data come from?? Ad platforms like Facebook, Google, and TikTok?? Third-party tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics?? Or sales platforms like Shopify? And secondly… Who set up the accounts? If someone from the brand created them, they technically own the data. But if an agency pulls it, they also “own” it in a way. Clear ownership and organization are everything when it comes to reporting. Thanks to Tom Murray, MBA, Managing Director of Data and Analytics at Jump 450.

Algorithms change fast. What worked six months ago might not work today. Therefore in digital marketing, sticking to outdated rules can hurt your results. Use this simple tip to stay ahead of the pack… Always question the WHY. Do not resign yourself to working in a playpen of outdated red tape. Ask “Why are we doing it this way? Does it still make sense?” Questioning the process isn’t just smart—it’s necessary. Can you remember the last time you did this at work? What were the results? Thank you Michelle Rose, Managing Director of Client Leadership at Jump 450.

Have you considered expanding your Google ad efforts into an international market? It’s more potential customers to reach and… it’s cheaper. The same keyword in the US, average CPC is around $9.93 per click. That same keyword in the UK is around $5.23 per click. And we’re seeing it as low as $2.88 per click in some other coutries. This can be an especially low lift to test for brands who do NOT sell a physical product. Thank you, Google Ads expert, Eric Herzog and Acquisition Manager at Jump 450.

Creative forecasting? Planning your next marketing month? A Gantt Chart is essential as long as it's flexible. Morgan Kappler Scheib, Project Manager at Jump 450 explains.

Your best-performing ads hold secrets. (Most people ignore them) But they can be simple to extract. Isolate what works. Then get creative. Here is a quick brain dump from Creative Director, Renee Scavone: Spot winning themes across your ads. Take the best 5 seconds from a UGC video and turn it into a headline for a static ad, or have talent read it aloud. Add motion graphics to spice it up. This modular approach or mindset gives you a TON of freedom to explore while efficiently testing and scaling creative. #AdStrategy #CreativeMarketing #PerformanceAds
