Celebrating our PhD alumnus, Dr. Kevin Collins ('23)! Since graduation, he has continued to implement his studies and contribute to academic communities. “Reflections on the Madre Diaries: A Fiction-Based Autobiography of Mourning and Resistance” in Embodied Somatic Leadership for Peacebuilding and Protest: Women’s Counteroffensive to Violence and Injustice (Emerald Publishing, in process, 2024) “Living the Vita: Performative Education Through Collaborative Autoethnographic Megapuppetry” in a special issue of the Canadian Journal for the Study of Adult Education (CJSAE), “Autoethnography and Adult Education: Starting with Ourselves” (in process, 2024). He has presented at the Mildred Haun Conference at Walters State Comm College in Morristown in February; the International Leadership Association (ILA) Philosophy, Religion, and Worldview mini conference in June from Atlanta; facilitated 2 sessions at the Westheimer Peace Symposium at Wilmington College (Ohio) in October; and has 2 presentations at the ILA Global Conference next weekend. And he will have some poetry published in the Mildred Haun Review this fall. Congratulations, Dr. Collins!
