After 376 days since we launched Hiking for Hope, and filed for our 501c(3) non profit statues, and began this journey to hike our 8000 mile TripleCrown for diabetes research and awareness today we will begin to prepare for our drive to SanDiego Ca! We will be leaving base camp this evening and a huge thank you to Handy Randy Knight!! For putting us up over night, letting us leave our vehicle at his hostel for a year, we’ll 6-7 months actually, and also helping us make it to the Southern terminus of the Pacific Crest Trail Saturday. Handy Randy I met on trail during my 2018 hike and has been a great friend ever since. I’m excited to see him and the mrs and to catch up!I will be sharing links to his FB page and his hostel.
