?? Celebrating 13 Years of the Sakura Scholarship ?? Since 2011, JTI, in collaboration with the Embassy of Japan, has awarded the Sakura Scholarship to students and researchers in Serbia. This program not only strengthens the bond of friendship between Serbia and Japan but also inspires a deeper understanding of Japanese culture and society. Each year, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students, as well as part-time researchers, are invited to explore topics ranging from Japanese language, literature, and culture to social sciences. Five students with the most creative and insightful research papers are selected as winners, earning a fully funded study trip to Japan. This once-in-a-lifetime experience provides new perspectives and opportunities for academic growth, all while building bridges between our two nations. By fostering creativity and curiosity, the Sakura Scholarship helps shape the next generation of global thinkers. #JTI #SakuraScholarship #Serbia #CulturalExchange

It all starts with the grower! We view our growers as entrepreneurs and their farm as a business. Through our direct contracting model with tobacco growers, we can make a significant impact on their lives and improve farming practices, which our agronomy technicians support regularly throughout the duration of the crop cycle. Providing growers advice and guidance on their crop helps improve their livelihoods, yields and income. #tobaccogrowing #farmingpractices
