U.S. Army North (5th Army) is part of the federal family of resources serving to better position the people on the ground to alleviate human suffering. As the Joint Force Land Component Command (JFLCC), for U.S. Northern Command. ARNORTH coordinates with FEMA , state and local officials, and Dual Status Commanders to establish conditions for Department of Defense support. Joint Task Force Civil Support is serving as ARNORTH’s contingency command post for Hurricane Helene response. Members of the U.S. and Mexican militaries train together during Fuerzas Amigas 2024 in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico to strengthen partnerships and increase operational compatibility in the event of a cross-border humanitarian crisis. During the exercise, the U.S. Army practiced search and rescue techniques during a simulated response. Proficiency in administering Windows operating systems, MECM (SCCM), and virtualization technologies. Knowledge of networking infrastructure, vlans, and network protocols. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices. Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills. Knowledge of the policies, principles, concepts, guidance, procedures, techniques, and methodologies pertaining to medical consequence management capabilities as they pertain to local, state, and federal emergency response plans. 2. Knowledge of the mission, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operation of DoD and DCRF organizations to provide command level staff guidance and/or medical consequence management guidance. Knowledge of joint military organizational structure and health service support tactics, techniques, and procedures. 3.
