We can't do our work alone - our partnerships are key for connecting new communities with new tools. Through our longstanding partnership with Adobe, we've been able to leverage tools to support readability and increase access to vital health materials. In #Malawi, we used Liquid Mode in Adobe Acrobat to digitize job aids for community case workers who relied on costly and complicated paper-based job aids when supporting communities living with #HIV. This made critical health information more accessible-saving time, cutting costs, and driving #healthequity. We’re grateful to be a part of Adobe for Nonprofits, an initiative designed to help provide nonprofits with the tools they need to change the world. We are proud to have sponsored a satellite session at last week’s #UnionConf2024, focusing on the transformative role of #data and information systems in combating tuberculosis (#TB). The session titled "From Insights to Action: Bolstering National TB Programs and Results Through Improved Data and Information Systems" highlighted how data-driven approaches are strengthening national TB programs. Chaired by JSI’s Senior Technical Advisor Sabrina Eagan, with the TB Implementation Framework Agreement (TIFA) and USAID Indonesia’s Anastasia Susanto, the session showcased impactful solutions from #Pakistan, #Indonesia, and #Zimbabwe. Presentations and a panel discussion demonstrated how tailored technology innovations, such as Pakistan’s TB OUTREACH and DOTS Linkages applications, Indonesia’s interoperability solutions, TB DIAH’s Data-to-Action Continuum assessment, and Zimbabwe’s Making Sense of TB Data program, are advancing TB management and care. This session reflects JSI’s commitment to fostering data-driven strategies that bolster national programs, address local needs, and drive progress toward ending TB. #CHISUProgram's session today at #HSR2024 focused on Regional Approaches to sustainable #HIS strengthening by enabling catalytic country digital health strategy implementation. Mai H., Jai Ganesh Udayasankaran, Charmaine Metivier, Frances Baaba da-CostaVroom and Derek Kunaka discussed: 1. The digital health journey of countries and regional networks is a multiyear endeavor with the COVID-19 pandemic being an inflection point; 2. Digital health implementation requires a multi-sectoral approach which includes researchers, tech specialists, policymakers and national health focused associations 3. Capacity strengthening includes not only individual skills building but the development of data governance legislation, ability to engage policy makers and politicians and sharing of learning and experiences across countries and regions.

Earlier this week, we hosted a webinar “Smart Integration: Advancing Person-Centered Care in the HIV Response”. While panelists identified various approaches for integrating care, they shared common values: community engagement, person-centered service delivery that enables retention in care, context-specific integration, and long-term country-owned sustainability of the HIV response.
