JSD is once again proud to work with Verona’s Badger Prairie Needs Network (BPNN) on their third building project over the last 4 years, as we joined their groundbreaking ceremony! Now approaching the season of giving, there couldn’t be a better time to unveil this new building addition as BPNN operates one of Dane County’s three busiest food pantries, providing food assistance to 81,000 individuals making up a significant part of Dane County’s food gap! JSD is taking the lead on civil engineering, surveying and construction services. Keep up the great work BPNN!

It’s time to introduce our Associate of the month! As a Senior Development Specialist at JSD, Lisa Donmeyer provides clients with rapid, thorough, and accurate assessments of the viability of a real estate transaction and associated risks. She has extensive experience in site analysis and research, due diligence, legal document review, entitlements, permit expediting and coordination. Lisa loves her job but admits that if she could have any job in the world, she would love to be Guy Fieri and travel around the country in a muscle car, and eat delicious, unhealthy food at all the fun dive bars! Outside of work, she is an avid reader, a history nerd, and a lover of animals! She loves to travel with her husband, and they have a blended family of four grown kids and two lovable mutts Harry and Marley. #JSDTellTheStory

We are excited to announce that JSD has joined forces with CJ Engineering, a Milwaukee-based firm specializing in civil engineering design and land surveying for site development and redevelopment projects. This strategic partnership strengthens JSD’s Milwaukee Regional Office while enhancing CJ Engineering’s existing services with JSD’s expertise in structural engineering, landscape architecture, and planning and development services. JSD is proud to have our Development Services team working alongside sweetgreen on more than 120 locations around the nation. Most recently, we celebrate their store openings in Seattle; Miami; Montvale, New Jersey; Columbus, Ohio; and Newport Beach, California! Our team took the lead on everything from initial project due diligence, entitlements, legal exhibit reviews and utility coordination, all the way to final store openings. And the fun doesn’t stop there as dozens more locations are in the works! #JSDTellTheStory

We are thrilled to welcome Justin Frahm to the table as JSD’s newest owner. Justin is a 15-year site designer and project consultant with JSD and becomes our 7th staff person to join the ownership team! He has extensive experience in commercial, institutional, residential and recreational site design, as well as project delivery and construction management. As a project consultant, he can creatively take a site vision from concept drawing through design and construction to illustrate and convey his design solutions. Justin generates ideas with technical understanding and creative flair as reflected in his development of master plans, site plans, construction details and presentation renderings including 3-dimensional illustration.
