Exec. Director of SAMA and SRMA - Regional Manufacturing Associations. Providing valuable resources aligned with manufacturers' needs, covering 10 counties from Manatee to Collier, and in the Heartland of Florida.
A big thank you to Ross Kennedy and Design Concepts / Marine Concepts for hosting today's SAMA - Sarasota-Manatee Area Manufacturers Association plant tour. With over 300,000 square feet and 300 employees, it was impressive to say the least. I also want to thank Conquest Dynamics Inc, Jonathan Edwards and Amy Edwards, for generating great conversation and insight into ERP implementation and CRM integration. Ross and I were on the panel, and the conversation went so well, we plan to continue it with the attendees via Zoom in the next couple of weeks! And another shout out to Entech US for being our Plant Tour Sponsor. The new headsets worked perfectly and as planned. It would have been very hard to hear without them.
Today, we honored Richard Davis and his incredible 43-year journey with DCMC. His unwavering commitment, dedication, and passion to “building dreams” has left a mark on our legacy. Wishing you a well-deserved retirement! We had 2 special guests at the celebration today, Kiko and Bob Long (pictured in last photo). Kiko started the company and sold it to Bob in 1994 with only 13 employees. Bob was the owner and CEO for 21 years, grew the business and rapidly expanded it. Today, we have 2 plants, 365,000 sqft, and 345 employees. Thank you, Richard, for being a part of this journey!
