The T.I.M.E. acronym helps individuals and or loved ones recognize the symptoms of sepsis and seek immediate care. Sepsis affects 1.7 million people in the United States each year. Sepsis is bacterial infection that progresses over time, and the longer it remains untreated, the more severe the symptoms and its impact on the body. Early identification and treatment are crucial in battling sepsis, so paying attention and listening to your body is critical.

Normalizing conversations about suicidal ideation and sharing stories of recovery may encourage others to feel less alone in their struggle. "Though I have lost dreams in the past, I have rediscovered new ones. I'm still working on a novel and writing music. I'm three years sober and finding a way to turn my pain into hope for others," Nathan Langlitz, JPS Health Network Peer Support Specialist.
