?? Happy Thanksgiving! As we gather around the table, let’s also keep safety in mind: ? Turn pot and pan handles inward to keep little hands safe. ? Keep hot foods and drinks out of reach to prevent burns. ? Secure tablecloths to avoid spills when tiny hands tug on them. Wishing you a joyful, safe holiday filled with love and gratitude! ??

The voice of the industry on quality and safety for products intended for babies and children.
关于我们
The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) is the voice of the industry on quality and safety for baby and children’s products. We do this by: * Advocating for safety through product certification programs and legislative and regulatory involvement; * Supporting a broad and diverse membership through member-only programming and industry promotion; * And by acting as a comprehensive source for baby product information and education. JPMA members represent 95 percent of the prenatal to preschool products sold in North America. To find out more about JPMA, our certification program and products certified, and for a complete listing of JPMA members, please visit www.jpma.org (https://www.jpma.org/news/403416/www.jpma.org). Follow JPMA on Twitter @JPMA and connect with us on Facebook to learn about additional safety tips and JPMA initiatives.

3,700 babies die from sleep-related deaths each year. With support from donors like you, JPMA Cares and our partners can continue working to prevent such sleep-related deaths and help every baby sleep safely. Each donation of $70 gives a baby safe sleep by helping JPMA Cares and our partners help reach more families, in more communities, and save more lives. To save a child and provide safe sleep resources, donate at JPMACares.org.

We believe in a future where babies no longer die from preventable deaths. This GivingTuesday, our goal is to raise $20,000 for the Safe Sleep Campaign by the end of GivingTuesday on December 3, 2024. Your donation of just $70 is enough to provide a family in need with the tools for their baby to sleep safely—a cribette, a onesie, educational materials, and a safe sleep storybook. Will you join us in stopping preventable infant deaths this holiday season? If yes, comment "yes" and share this post. Together, we can keep babies safe.

?? Happy Halloween! ?? As you embark on your trick-or-treating adventures, we want to remind everyone to stay safe and have fun! Here are a few tips: ?? Stroller Safety: Always secure your little one with the harness, apply the brakes whenever you stop, and avoid hanging bags or heavy items from the handlebars to prevent tip-overs. ?? Stroller Wagon Safety: If you're using a stroller wagon, make sure it’s stable and not overloaded. Keep an eye on your little passengers! ?? Candy Check: Always check your child’s candy before they dig in. Discard any unwrapped or suspicious treats. Have a spooktacular time, and remember to keep those little ghouls and goblins safe! ???? #HappyHalloween #StrollerSafety #TrickOrTreat #FamilyFun

Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) describes the sudden death of a baby younger than 1 year of age that doesn’t have a known cause, even after a full investigation. Many of these deaths occur while baby is sleeping. Some of the risk factors include sleep position, sleep area, temperature, and bed sharing. By following safe sleep recommendations, parents and caregivers can reduce the risk of SIDS and other sleep-related infant deaths.
