?? Project Milestone ?? Yesterday, our team had the opportunity to visit and tour one of our nearly completed projects: a stunning 379-unit apartment building featuring luxury amenities. We kicked off the day by hosting a valuable "Lessons Learned" session with the general contractor and client, diving into insights and discussing opportunities to improve efficiencies on future projects. It's always rewarding to reflect on our work and collaborate on continuous advancements! A special thank you to our Associate Principals, Rob Pritchard and Vicki Myers, for organizing and facilitating this amazing event. We’re proud to be a part of such incredible projects and partnerships! Klein Enterprises The Dolben Company, Inc. Chesapeake Contracting Group

Founded in 2006, JP2 Architects is committed to the creation of projects with a sense of place - projects grounded in urban design, which reflect the surrounding context and community, and touch the people for whom they are built. The philosophy of designing projects that are appropriate for their user and community is applied to projects large and small. We believe the structures we build today will have an impact on the fabric of our community for decades to come by nature of the building’s character, environmental sensitivity and adaptability. With experience in a wide variety of project types, JP2’s design studio focuses on the creation of spaces for living, learning and working. We do this through quality design, by understanding our client’s goals, and by applying our thorough understanding of the various factors and components of complex projects large and small. JP2’s principals have over twenty years of experience working together in the design and delivery of buildings and projects that include corporate interiors, office complexes, institutional buildings, multi-family residential, commercial retail developments, and masterplanning. JP2 is committed to sustainable design as our office is well versed in sustainable approaches with the majority of our staff being LEED accredited. Our collaborative process always includes our clients, and assures a swift synthesis of the constraints and opportunities into a salient solution. More importantly, it enfranchises our clients in the process and assures that the ultimate outcome - the project itself - is a true reflection of their vision. Each project is led by one of the principals of the firm along with the Associate appropriate for that project type, who manages the day to day aspects of the project. We are a medium size firm that believes in high level attention to each and every project with an emphasis on client satisfaction.

Whether it’s local, out of state, or international, JP2 Architects is committed to building up the communities in which we operate. We strive to understand what unites them, what are their specific needs and their aspirations. For each project, the firm examines how the development encourages a sense of community and how it benefits the people who live and work there. From alleviating food deserts to bringing new cultural experiences to a neighborhood, JP2 strives to create projects that make a social and economic impact and uplift the lives of the people in the community.? ? The Southern Streams Health and Wellness Center is a project that elevates the surrounding community by providing much needed services and amenities to enhance the lives of the people in the neighborhood. The MHTC Development Corporation-led development is a 5-story, 123,000 sf health and wellness center that will serve the Broadway East Neighborhood of Baltimore. The project features services from Johns Hopkins, CareFirst, Alterwood Health of LifeBridge, Quality Pharmacy, the Jack Dwyer Workforce Group, whose mission is to provide comprehensive support to individuals who aspire to pursue a career in the healthcare industry, and the headquarters for Mary Harvin Transformation Center Community Development. The Center will be more than just “bricks and mortar” to the area; it is the centerpiece of a masterplan that represents hope and healing for a neighborhood that has seen its share of hardships in recent years. ? The interior design features locally sourced reclaimed materials as well as pieces that were salvaged from the Old Bugle Laundry Factory that once stood on the site. A rotating collection that features the biographies of prominent East Baltimoreans in digital format will further connect the project to the neighborhood’s history. A graphic that reads “Baltimore, Forward, Always Forward” will be placed on a prominent wall as a message of hope as citizens exit the facility and reconnect with the city. ? Recently, JP2 helped celebrate the Southern Streams Health and Wellness Center groundbreaking. Bishop Donte Hickman was joined by community leaders such as Governor Wes Moore, Senator Ben Cardin, Senator Chris Van Hollen, Senator Cory McCray, Congressman Hon. Kweisi Mfume, and many others to acknowledge this monumental event.

The Hunt Valley Towne Centre LLC is a mixed-use project located in Cockeysville, MD. JP2 designed the conversion of the existing vacant anchor building on the west side into a cohesive space featuring Onelife Fitness and Ashley's Furniture. The existing fa?ade of the old Sears was removed to allow for the new tenant facades and addition for the Onelife Vestibule. In addition to the conversion, JP2 designed two pad buildings with outdoor seating areas and terraces, enhancing walkability throughout the site and between lower and upper level tenants. The addition of fast casual restaurants contributes to the dining options within the center, complemented by lush landscaping and benches for a pleasant atmosphere.
