Industry events are more than just opportunities to showcase your latest product or technology — they’re a chance to capture the media’s attention and make headlines that resonate long after the event ends. For mobility companies, these events are critical moments to position themselves as industry leaders, secure media coverage, and generate excitement about what’s next. But with thousands of exhibitors competing for attention, simply showing up isn’t enough. To make an impact, you need a strategic plan to engage journalists, capture media attention, and ensure your brand remains top-of-mind long after the event is over. Here’s how we do events at Joyride:

As Q1 comes to a close, now is the perfect time for companies in the mobility sector to take a step back and assess their communications strategy. The first quarter of the year often sets the tone for what’s ahead, providing valuable insights into what’s working, what’s not, and where adjustments need to be made. A strategic review now can help ensure that the rest of the year is aligned with your business goals and media opportunities. Joyride's March 2025 Book of the Month is Women Behind the Wheel by Nancy Nichols. Since their inception cars have defined American culture, but until quite recently car histories were largely written by and about men—with little attention given to the fascinating story of women and cars. This engaging non-fiction narrative illustrates how the car helped to define modern womanhood. Cars helped women secure the right to vote, changed the nature of romance, and influenced both fashion and child rearing customs. In the just over 100 years since their inception, cars have created possibilities even as they exposed women to new kinds of danger. Women Behind the Wheel explores the uniquely gendered landscape of the automobile, detailing the many reasons why cars are both more expensive and more dangerous for women drivers. The automobile is on the cusp of momentous change. As we advance into the era of electric, connected, and autonomous vehicles, Nichols shows us why we should hit the brakes and look back in the rear-view mirror at this long and fascinating history. ?? As Pete Bigelow writes "too many companies have veered off-course in attempting to develop tech-focused products and services, says SBD Automotive (client), and now it's time for the pendulum to swing toward prioritizing human beings." In this recent Automotive News feature, Bigelow analyzes if the auto industry has veered too far toward tech hype and has forgotten to put place people, society and the planet at the forefront of their development processes.
