    International Association of Movers flagship event out in Las Vegas was an abste hit! Special thanks to Brian Limperopulos, CAE who knocked the event out of the park and also was a main host to the post homesafe alliance reaction meeting where he did a 10/10 job of moderating from a particularly complex spot. Also honorable mentions to Yembo , Siddharth Mohan , Zachary Rattner and Marla Hjalmarson for some amazing presentations and also for being such a great partner! Now off to part two with WERC in DC. I get to head back to the Hill bright and early tomorrow and then see a lot of new and old faces for the next few days after. If you are in town, make sure to drop a line!

    A major project that has helped us succeed over the last few years is the goal of at least being robust but at best being antifragile for all the normal stress points that inevitably face pressure during peak season. Having personnel cross trained so in case of emergency they can at least cover skill adjacent roles plays a huge part in staying robust to any summertime surprises. The antifragile layer comes from management focusing mainly on watching key pressure points then if any start to break they step in and fill until it is fixed. Two small examples came in the last two years. Last year that was me heading out to Cali to be an interim terminal manager with some key help from Aseret Hesse. This year it has been me covering various shipments so we can create additional capacity to keep all jobs on time and serviced right. Rather than deal with quality pain during these points we actually can serve our RMC's and their transferees better than otherwise. #globalmobility #antifragile
