In October, Joybird HQ hosted the first “Retail Week”, an educational and team building event for our Retail Store Leaders from our 12 showrooms across the country. “Retail week was a well needed introduction, a meeting of minds, and a creative rejuvenation, for all involved in this amazing business we call Joybird. I could not have had more fun meeting all my teammates, partners, and leaders or left with more motivation to build success for all of us!”, said Denver Store manager Suz Garrett-Duquette. The week’s inspiring speakers included: Chuck Hausfeld, Former Vice-President of Retail Stores,? La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries, who provided a unique sales training experience that energized and enhanced sales coaching. Ryan Roche from 3D Cloud (the company who created the Joybird 3D Space Planner) offered an engaging contest with the 3D Space Planner. Bryan Lysaght of TriCounty Furniture Service Incorporated taught the group about our furniture repair services for warranty customers. Other activities included a scavenger hunt which allowed the teams to explore the HQ campus and meet fellow HQ employees, dinners with the broader team to allow for more face-to-face interaction within the company, and making blankets for the charity Fleece & Thank You. We can’t wait until the next Retail Week!

Yesterday we hosted "Appetite for Design", an industry networking event for our Trade Members, at our DTLA Showroom. It featured an insightful conversation with the multi-faceted interior designer Claire Thomas, where she discussed her approach to deliver the right level of "design spice" for her clients, as well as 2025 trend forecasting, moderated by Joybird's own Gifty Walker.
