    ? From layoff to launching dreams—this is how I’m rewriting my story. In April, I faced a layoff that shook up my career plans. While it was a challenging moment, it also became the spark I needed to pursue my own vision. Since then, I’ve poured my heart into launching Joy in Noir and hosting BlissNik Baltimore—a sold-out event that brought women together to celebrate self-care, resilience, and joy. Creating Joy in Noir has been a labor of love. It’s my mission to transform workplace challenges into opportunities for empowerment, resilience, and well-being. Seeing my vision come to life and positively impact others has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my career. Although I recently learned that another candidate was selected for a role I pursued through six, SIX!!! ?? rounds of interviews, I’m more determined than ever. This journey has taught me that rejection is often redirection—and I’m excited to continue building something meaningful, whether through my own work or by contributing my skills to the right team.
