THE PIG-and The Village Pub is coming?to the Cotswolds in 2024 ?? Sometimes opportunities arise when you are least expecting them… and with two new PIGs on the horizon in Stratford Upon Avon and Tunbridge Wells to keep us busy, we were not anticipating another beauty to come across our desks so soon – but here we are! And we couldn’t wait a moment longer to share the news with you… We have just acquired the 17th century Barnsley House hotel, tucked away in the quintessential Cotswold’s village of Barnsley, just four miles from Cirencester. This little gem of a property has all the makings of a PIG already weaved into its DNA… but of course there are a few twists! It comes with its own village pub, which will be a first for us – a PIG pub! It also has a small, but perfectly formed, spa which will see us extend our Potting Sheds beyond our treatment offerings. And not only does it have a working Kitchen Garden, but ornamental gardens too which will be a new source of inspiration for us. Our team will start the works to turn this stunner of a property into a PIG, with a view to opening the doors this summer as THE PIG-and The Village Pub. It’s going to be an exciting year! ??
