As we grow (over 200% this year) to meet the overwhelming need for supportive male role models and healthy masculinity in our region, we are aware that we cannot do this alone. Tomorrow, you'll hear our stories of success and you'll hear a vision for the future of our program. Connect with our community of board members, mentors, boys, parents, funders, elders, and wider community of Journeymen champions. We'll have food and refreshments as well as games and activities that give you a taste of what we do in our programming with the young men. It's the last week of enrollment for Journeymen Triangle's Rites of Passage Weekend! Men and boys are truly struggling (see: Richard Reeves, American Institute for Boys and Men). I'm so grateful to have a powerful, intentional resource in our local community to support them. Journeymen Triangle comes alongside boys and young men and supports their growth, development, and success. Jordan Bowman, Jake Humphrey Details on how to enroll the young men in your life below:

My son participated in Journeymen Triangle’s #ROPAW and he still talks about the #mentors he had access to and the significance it made, and still makes, as he navigates young adulthood. We are thankful for Jordan Bowman and his crew for providing this one of a kind experience.

“During the Journeymen visit, cool guy Jacob walked out of the gym after playing basketball with the big group and said ‘That’s the most fun I’ve ever had.’ I feel really grateful and happy that both our staff and the mentors work together to give our kids opportunities for FUN alongside SEL.” - Mt. Vernon Teacher The rain can’t hold us back! Today, we had our first session with 30+ seventh and eighth grade male students at Mount Vernon Middle school! We look forward to the next 17 sessions this year where we’ll have fun while also providing a space for young men to be challenged and nurtured by men. Together we are answering the question, “what is healthy masculinity?” We hope you'll join in on the conversation and in our mission of forging independence, resiliency, and emotional maturity in young men.
