Our new name reflects that we are there to walk alongside those impacted by domestic violence and child abuse every step of the way. Meet Journey Center's Board Chair, ERIC LOGAN. Eric has served on Journey Center's Board of Directors for eight years. "Serving on Journey Center's board is important because I both recognize the need and I recognize the need for a male voice and mail leadership in the discussion. Journey serves an unmet need for the Cleveland community. As a native Clevelander, I recognize the need to impact our community at every level and I am happy to do my part to contribute." In addition to his work on Journey Center's Board Eric will be inducted into CWRU's Weatherhead School of Management Hall of Fame on Friday, December 6 in recognition of his commitment to advancing his industry, creating opportunities for growth and the advancement of others, and support supporting success. Congrats Eric! Thank you Eric for supporting those impacted by domestic violence and child abuse and working towards safe, healthy relationships for everyone in our community!

The Board of Directors of Journey Center for Safety and Healing is thrilled to announce the appointment of Anne Face as the incoming CEO beginning December 2, 2024. Most recently, Anne served as Associate Director at Family and Community Services, Inc. (FCS) in Ravenna, OH. FCS provides a broad continuum of services. Anne oversaw 70+ programs in 23 counties and managed a budget of nearly $40M. Prior to that, Anne was the Director of the Battered Women’s Shelter and the Rape Crisis Center of Summit and Medina counties. According to Eric Logan, Journey’s Board Chair, Anne is “an accomplished leader in Health and Human Services who brings a wealth of experience in non-profit leadership that will lead Journey into a new era of success.” Click to read Journey Center's full statement: https://lnkd.in/eFXzV8dk

Journey Center knows that every victim’s situation is unique, characterized by intersecting factors that may affect how abuse manifests for them and what they need to feel safe. Our 24-Hour Helpline allows callers to confidentially converse with a trained advocate who can provide information and resources tailored to their needs. Journey’s Helpline Advocates offer emotional support, safety planning, information, and referrals to victims of domestic violence and child abuse. Our Helpline is designed to give callers the time they need, which can vary in duration from several minutes to over an hour and serves as the intake process for all of Journey’s services.
