Wild Wonders: A Mother's Love in the Serengeti. On my Safari in Tanzania, I was in Central Serengeti when I watched a 'wee' giraffe, a few days old take its steps alongside its beautiful mama. These little ones are born almost as tall as most NBA players at 6 feet tall - but still the wobbliest, cutest creatures you’ll see. Pure Serengeti magic! #JourneyToAfricaSafari #LifeWorthExploring

A journey to savor with every step. "First, despite not making it to the summit, the climb was a great experience. Our guides and their crew were just so lovely and fun. Early wake ups were tempered by gorgeous sunrise views over the clouds. Summit Africa did a wonderful job of supporting us along the way. One of my guests went with her reluctant grandson along for the journey to Kenya. At first, it was a because mommy says so and then it didn't take him long to rave about fishing on the winding Talek River and spotting zebra tracks on bush walks from their lodge Ngare Serian in Mara North Conservancy! January to February = wild baby season in the Southern Serengeti, Tanzania! Newborn wildebeest take their very first step before running for their lives, literally ... cheetahs don’t wait. Lush grass, colorful flowers, and open plains set the scene for a show nothing short of spectacular. Pro tip: The herds are always moving, but that’s part of the magic. Bush Sundowners… my favorite way to end the day! After a day spent tracking lions or snapping photos of elephants, there’s really nothing better than a sundowner in the bush. Every evening on Safari after the last game drive, we stop the vehicle, grab our gin and tonics (or your drink of choice) and just BREATHE and take it all in. The world slows down at dusk, with the sounds of the bush all around you… ahhh, truly the best part of the day. Can't wait for you to experience these magical moment on your Journey to Africa Safari.
