Get in the game and join our team! Josiah White's is hosting an open interview event during March Madness on March 20, 2025 from 4p.m. - 7p.m. in the Hodson Center on our Wabash campus. If you're looking for new possibilities in your career, we hope you can join us, learn about the Youth Support Specialist role, fill out an application, and interview all in one evening! ~Attendees who complete the application and interview process can enjoy a free meal from Nick's Dog Cart who will be on-site! We will also have snacks and tours of campus available for all attendees, as well as giveaways. ~Upon successful hire, a $100 sign on bonus is available as well as possible housing for select shifts. We're celebrating 175 years! Over the course of this year, we're featuring individuals from within our organization as well as those from surrounding communities who have supported us and helped continue Josiah White's vision and legacy! This week we are featuring Doug Shoemaker, Pastor at Hemlock Friends Church and former Josiah White's board member. Today, Doug reflects on how the legacy of others has impacted his own life as well as the lives of those at Josiah White's. We appreciate your continued support, Doug! "I have seen first-hand the impact of legacy during the years I served Indiana Yearly Meeting. Each year IYM funnels tens of thousands of dollars to missions, evangelism, and support of ministers from legacy gifts that had been given over the years. I have experienced first-hand the impact of spiritual legacy in my own family. I have been incredibly blessed by parents, grandparents and other family members who have modeled deep and genuine faith. The spiritual legacy left by them is priceless and continues to impact my life every day!"

Each quarter throughout the year, the Josiah White's staff come together for an all-staff meeting led by President & CEO Matthew Purkey. Last week staff met in the chapel, enjoyed a time of worship and a message from Student Chaplain Brady Bolen, heard organizational updates, and celebrated staff who have gone above and beyond in their roles! We are so grateful for all of our staff and their commitment to the children, teens, and families we serve! Would you pray for Josiah White's as we move forward in our mission for 2025?

Denae, who grew up on campus and is also a former staff member, shared her thoughts on the impact Josiah White's has made and is making on the children and teens we serve. "When I think about Josiah White's, I think about the kids that come in and out of that ministry. They are given the gift of spiritual legacy. They are given the gift of education, connection, and a new start. I really believe that the legacy Josiah White's will leave behind is the gift of a holistic viewpoint of people who radically believe that redemption and restoration is possible."
