Congratulations to AFC on the opening of their most recent Urgent Care facility in Camas, Washington! Their services will be a positive addition to the local community and JHC is proud to support their growth. This 3,000sf tenant improvement converted an empty shell space into the finished urgent care facility. It includes rooms for x-ray, procedures and examinations and was completed on budget and before the scheduled completion date.

'Tis the season! JHC employees came together to run a 'Coats and Cans' drive during this holiday season. The team donated 73 coats to The Caring Closet in the Tigard / Tualatin school district as well as making a donation to CIDA Architecture | Engineering | Planning | Interiors annual can drive. It's been awesome to see others in our industry (and beyond) support so many good causes within the community. Whether it's donating toys or stuffed animals to spread the magic of Christmas to a child, coats to keep people warm during these upcoming months, cans of food or money for necessities or giving their time in a charitable way, everyone's contribution helps.

What started as a former #SweetTomatoes is now just a few strokes away from becoming a top-notch swim school. Here's how it all went down: ? Plaster Perfection: First, our crew expertly applied the plaster—precision is key when creating the perfect pool surface. ? Acid Wash Magic: Next, the plaster was acid-washed to bring out its pristine finish. ? Fill 'Er Up!: The pool came to life as we started filling it with water, transforming a construction zone into a shimmering oasis. ? Barricade Be Gone: Finally, with barricades removed and the area prepped, the pool is ready for handover! We’re proud to deliver this new facility to Emler in just a couple of weeks, ensuring everything is safe, clean, and ready for their swimmers to dive in. ????? What a perfect Fall day to highlight a recent Joseph Hughes Construction Company project in The Dalles, Oregon, just off of I-84. This project was completed over the Summer 2024 and involved an interior buildout / tenant improvement on a new building. Our superintendent moved to the area for 2 months in an effort to ensure this was another successful JHC project, and the results speak to the quality and care that he put into his work.
