The Joseph C. Monastra (JCM) Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, a 501C3 organization, was established in 2002 in honor of the father and husband who passed away only four weeks after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Since that time, the mission of this foundation has been to engage in charitable, educational and scientific activities, including funding research, scientific endeavors and other activities directed at the eradication of cancer specifically pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic Cancer: #1 fatality rate of all cancers & 4th leading cause of cancer deaths in men & women JCM Foundation to host 4th Annual ArtCAN Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016 6 - 7 p.m. VIP Host/Patron CHAMPAGNE Party 7 - 10 p.m. ArtCAN main event Hosted at The Estate in Buckhead Atlanta ArtCAN features an unprecedented collaboration of the performance & visual arts of Atlanta, joining the Atlanta Ballet, The Atlanta Opera, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Alliance Theatre and visual artists from around the world to help raise awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer research at Johns Hopkins & Emory University. Guests will enjoy a fine art silent auction w/ works from artists whose lives have been affected by cancer.
