On October 24, 2023, we took over Lakeland Apartments in Lewisville, Texas. Since takeover, we have renovated 8 units (13% of unit count) at ~$2,500/unit less than forecasted, repaired all exterior carpentry, repainted all buildings, repaired all roofs, repaired and restriped the parking lots, and made all necessary plumbing repairs. We have leased all upgraded units at our Year 1 proforma market rents and are 98% leased overall. In the words of our property manager, "These units are easy to lease. The prospective residents LOVE the upgrades!" Shoutout to TX Gibson Group LLC for their great work on both unit upgrades and exterior renovations. To say we are rocking and rolling at Lakeland Apartments is an understatement. We are excited for our residents, our investors, and the overall success of this project to date!
