Stability—it's an underrated word, especially now. The direct sales industry is seeing closures left and right, leaving people who built careers suddenly displaced. It’s like a mass firing, and I don’t think many realize the impact. So, how do you build *stability* with your side hustle? How do you create stability and add income to your family, just like I wanted to 24 years ago? It takes more work these days to find a company worth your energy, time, word, and reputation. I feel for the companies facing tough decisions, and for their employees and leadership who worked so hard to build them. Here are a few things to consider when seeking stability: - Products you love. - People with the right motives (Hint: It’s not about getting rich quick. Money comes from helping people). - A pay plan that rewards effort reasonably—not too easy, but not impossible. - Longevity and stability in the company. - Ownership that understands the value of leadership—not just the balance sheet. When you’re ready to partner with a company, create a checklist. Ask questions. Have your personal non-negotiables. Despite the changing times, this is still a *beautiful* industry full of opportunity, especially here at Jordan Essentials. I’ve seen many people come on board, seeking the safe harbor and stability they crave. It’s an honor and a privilege to serve those people. If you're looking, we're open to being interviewed. I've been interviewing a lot lately. No, I'm not looking for a job—I’m hiring for two key roles! ???????? I’ve shared my story so many times in the past two weeks, and I’ve realized just how *unusual* it is! ?? I was willing to risk stepping away from the ordinary. Originally, I wanted to be an elementary school teacher. ?? But I got cold feet thinking about lesson plans and spending all day in a classroom. ?? While I have deep love and respect for teachers (and God’s special blessing on our Special Ed teachers who did so much for my Annya ??), it just wasn’t for me. I know I’m not your usual kind of person—I’ve always known that. But this is what I risked it all for... to feel *alive* and live in my purpose. ?? Your purpose might be waiting on the other side of the ordinary. ??
