Why should you have performance reviews? There is always debate as to the necessity of reviews and if they truly motivate employees, drive accountability, etc. We believe that all human beings have a desire to know where they stand, and it’s respectful for leaders to have that discussion with employees. It also provides a regular documentation opportunity for leaders in terms of dealing with high performers, those needing coaching and those who may need to be removed from the organization. Not having this type of documentation can prove troublesome if difficult decisions need to be made down the road. If you'd like to talk more about the performance review process give us a call 501-414-5691.

We believe that a key component of The VIP Way is to have regular discussions with your people on how they are living up to your organization’s Behavioral (core values) and Performance (P-Q-D-C) Expectations. Many organizations, consultants and business schools have tried to arrive at the perfect performance management process, (including not having one at all) but we believe there is no such thing as the perfect process. If you'd like to have a conversation with us about what we've seen work well for performance reviews, please reach out to Melissa Dunn, [email protected].
