Friends, I was delighted to attend the 2024 Governor's Celebration of Innovation (#GCOI2024) this week in my home state of Arizona.?The GCOI is an annual event produced by the Arizona Technology Council (aztechcouncil.com) and their President & CEO Steven Zylstra, with presenting sponsor Sandra Watson from the Arizona Commerce Authority (azcommerce.com).? ? Both the Advanced Strategy Center and Converge are proud members of the Arizona Technology Council and strong supporters of the Arizona Commerce Authority. ? The event was a celebration of technology?innovation?by students, start-ups, small tech companies and large tech enterprises.?Some 400 innovators were in attendance and were joined by many legislative supporters and Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, who delivered a strong address and renewed focus for four key segments for Arizona's future: ? ??* ?AI and Advanced Computing ??* ?Advanced Transportation ??* ?Advanced Manufacturing ??* ?Bio Technology ? If you have been watching the economy of Arizona, you know the incredible advances we have had in aerospace/defense, chip manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, autonomous driving and a robust technology ecosystem.? Converge is proud to be part of this ecosystem as another tech enterprise founded in Arizona. ?
