Last night, Jonathans had the honor of standing among giants—men whose bravery is etched into our nation’s history. The Club's annual Veterans Day Dinner is more than a gathering; it's a pledge of gratitude to those who defend our freedom and a reminder to carry forward their legacy with pride. The evening unfolded through moving stories and moments of reflection, inspiring all who were present. Each October, the Jonathan Club family stands together in support for those impacted by breast cancer. Across our Club, we transform our resources into impactful initiatives that raise both awareness and funds. For a second year, we’ve partnered with Venice Family Clinic, hosting fundraisers like our pickleball tournament at the Jonathan Beach Club, all in support of their life-changing work. We had a great time partnering with ACG Los Angeles for the Casino Night Benefiting Veterans last week at the Jonathan Club in Downtown Los Angeles! Thank you to the over 80 people who registered for the evening and made it a huge success. Besides the roulette, blackjack, poker, and craps, many important relationships formed and solidified. What an incredible week at the Club Management Association of America BMI Leadership Principles! The hospitality from the team at the Jonathan Club, led by Matthew Allnatt was absolutely second to none. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, making the experience truly memorable. The week was packed with valuable insights from outstanding educators, speakers, and presenters. On top of that, I had the pleasure of connecting with an amazing group of private club professionals—each bringing unique perspectives and passion for this industry. Meet Ron Hooks, the visionary behind West Coast Care who's making a lasting impact in our very own backyard. Our partnership began after seeing Ron’s extraordinary work along the Santa Monica shore, assisting houseless individuals in reuniting with their families. Moved by his mission, the Club donated a Polaris Inc. to help him and his team reach even more people. In 2023 alone, Ron’s organization helped 1,437 individuals find the support that they need. ? The Jonathan Beach Club is proud to host the annual West Coast Care Gala this week, a night dedicated to raising both awareness and resources for their invaluable contributions to the community. Each year, members come together in the early morning at the Jonathan Beach Club to lift the American flag and ring the club's ceremonial bell in memory of lives lost and the extraordinary acts of courage from first responders on September 11, 2001. This day will forever mark a day of profound loss, but it also stands as a testament to the power of unity and the resilience of our country. #neverforget
