The Masonry Hall of Fame was created by the Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA) to recognize and award individuals who have dedicated their lives to the masonry industry. We had a great time being part of Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC’s project, Riverfront Place, located along the river in Columbus, Georgia! This project was a fantastic journey for us, and we are grateful for the opportunity to work on this beautiful building with a great project team.
A project seven years in the making is now complete in Columbus, Georgia. Riverfront Place, a multi-phase development overlooking the Chattahoochee River, brings a mix of residential, office, hospitality, dining, and retail spaces to the growing Columbus community. Phases I and II consisted of The Rapids at Riverfront Place, Swift Park, and Hotel Indigo Columbus. Phases III and IV included The Currents at Riverfront Place and Synovus office headquarters. Long-term developments like these are always so rewarding to complete. We're grateful to W.C. Bradley Co. for entrusting us to reimagine the site of a former cotton mill. Check out how our dedicated teams made it happen from 2017 to the present day!

Last month, Centennial Yards Atlanta celebrated the topping out and unveiling of its first ground-up residential tower, now formally named "The Mitchell." The event included a celebratory lunch, raffle prizes, and acknowledgment of the milestone represented by a ceremonial raising of the final beam. What's next for Centennial Yards? The project is also working on a 292-key hotel located across the street and the construction of the recently announced entertainment district. This achievement marks a significant step towards enhancing the Downtown Atlanta community. We love to see the process of new construction! We're thankful for the opportunity to partner with the JE Dunn Construction team on the University City Regional Library project in Charlotte.
JE Dunn is presently constructing a new 35,361 SF branch library to replace the current University City Regional Library. Scheduled for completion at the end of November, the new library sits in the heart of University City, home to the UNC Charlotte 49ers! As one of the busiest library branches in the Charlotte Metro area, we are proud to be a contributor in bringing back a state-of-the-art facility for this growing community. Libraries are such a valuable asset; having access to a library can lead to economic growth and contribute to healthy community building, they also serve as a place of gather, wonder, and education for all people. Spending the day at Georgia Tech School of Building Construction for the masonry portion of construction camp. This program provides the opportunity to engage with world-class faculty and current students, and give high-school (rising juniors and rising seniors) students meaningful insight into what it is like to study Building Construction at Georgia Tech. Construction Safety Week 2024 was a GREAT success. Every year we come together and are reminded to reach higher in our commitment to safety – not just this week, but throughout the year. I would like to thank our speakers Danny Morales, CHST and Malta Dynamics for stressing the importance of fall protection and also White Cap for donating gear. We also had the chance to raffle off some Atlanta United FC, Nashville Soccer Club, and Charlotte FC tickets for our safety superstars.
