Joliet City Center Partnership is hiring an Executive Director! The Executive Director will play a pivotal leadership role in the ongoing revitalization and economic development of downtown Joliet. Under the general direction of the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will be responsible for implementing the mission, vision, and objectives of the Joliet City Center Partnership (JCCP). This includes the promotion of economic development, event programming, marketing initiatives, and community engagement within the Special Service Area (SSA). The role requires a dynamic leader who is passionate about downtown revitalization and dedicated to enhancing the social and cultural fabric of the Joliet community. https://lnkd.in/gfkGKpZG

What a fantastic day in Downtown Joliet! I had the privilege of attending a torta cutting for Tortazo, Chef Rick Bayless’s newest concept at Harrah's Joliet Casino & Hotel. It was wonderful to connect with Chef Bayless and tell him the story of how we took my oldest son to his restaurant, Xoco, when he was 5 years old. He had pozole and on the first day of Kindergarten when he had to list all his favorites, his favorite food was pozole. Thank you to Harrah's Joliet Casino & Hotel for making this happen and to Tortazo for investing in our city. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Once again, our group showed up to support #DowntownJoliet restaurants. If you are in the region and haven’t been to Chicago Street Pub & Grill check them out! Mike and Kathy Trizna have owned the local staple for nearly 20 years and it had been established 20 years prior. How many restaurants can say they’ve been in town 40 years?
