Favorite way to use Zealot (very tactically) for a large brand ambassador program:
1) Place ambassador application link everywhere (Emails, Socials, QR codes on packaging, etc.)
2) Have 1000’s of ambassadors sign up, without requiring passwords or social account connection
3) Easily engage ambassadors with gamified missions like submitting UGC or posting
4) Ambassadors submit missions through a white-labeled advocate portal, where they can
see a leaderboard, their earnings, and redeem points for rewards like store credit
5) All program rewards, reminders, payments, tax forms and communication is automated
6) Rinse and repeat on auto-pilot
Old way of running an ambassador program:
-Being limited to just rewarding ambassadors with commission
-Ambassadors get bored and inactive, requiring extra effort to contact them
-Being bogged down with admin tasks like receiving inbound applications, communication, payments, social tracking
-Go on Grin or Aspire to find 5 expensive "influencers"
-Limited to a one-off contract
-Impossible to scale
New way of running a successful ambassador program:
-Gamified missions, tiers, leaderboards and automated follow-ups to keep ambassadors engaged
-Using real brand fans, who genuinely love your brand and are more affordable/authentic than influencers
-Engage and nurture ambassadors on a long-term basis
-Ambassadors self manage links and payments in their advocate portal, making it easy to scale
-Streamline applications, reporting, tax forms, link creation - all in one spot
All done with:
-Zealot
Now imagine creating an army of ambassadors driving UGC and sales at scale, while you only pay out for performance.
I was ~also~ using these influencer platforms to run ambassador programs (which didn’t work)…so decided to build what I always wanted.
Proud to be the building what advocate marketing software should’ve looked like years ago.
