The National Bankers Association joined nearly 70 Civil Rights and Advocacy Groups in signing the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies' letters urging new members of Congress to hire a diverse staff. ?? ??? The letters, individually addressed to all incoming and returning House Members and incoming and returning senators, recommended 1). Adopting a diversity plan; 2). Working with the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO); 3). Working with the Tri-Caucus Staff Associations; 4). Engaging the Tri-Caucus nonprofit organizations and other organizations similarly focused on diversity in government; and 5).
