The punchline is yes – employees do use LSAs for a range of reasons. Here’s what we discovered in our data: ?? Fitness activities and equipment are towards the top of the list, thanks to All-inclusive LSAs and Fitness & Wellness Spending Accounts that are designed to support well-being. ?? Economic challenges have led more and more companies to cover food-related expenses that make a difference to workers. ?? Connectivity expenses like internet and mobile fees are popular, with tax benefits to employers encouraging coverage. ?? Caregiving expenses rank tenth in transaction count but fifth in dollars spent. This highlights their high cost and the critical support they provide to working caregivers.
