The Boldt Company's Patrick Whaley is used to big challenges, but this was a different matter entirely. Patrick and his design-build partners--which included Boulder Associates, Mazzetti, and Mark III Construction, Inc. -- were charged with building a new prefab + modular MOB (medical office building), as well as creating a template for all the client's MOBs going forward. They used Join, the collaborative project delivery platform, for decision making and tracking. “The way we used to do it, we would just put it all into a massive Excel spreadsheet,” says Whaley. “With Join, TVD budgets are easier to track.” Read how the team collaborated from napkin sketch to closeout to meet the client's expectations for this complex project.
