What an incredible week at Procore Groundbreak 2024!? I was blown away. I’m so grateful to have spent time with our amazing Procore team, our visionary partners, and so many inspiring individuals from across the industry. This year’s Groundbreak showcased the power of connection, collaboration, innovation, and partnership in ways that left me truly inspired. From thought-provoking sessions to amazing new product updates to exploring new opportunities with our partners, it’s clear that together we’re building something extraordinary. It was also a privilege to deliver the Partner Keynote alongside Larry Stack, Michael Marfise, and Kristopher Lengieza, where we highlighted our commitment to our partner ecosystem, exciting new platform updates, new integrations and partnerships with Samsara, John Deere, Caterpillar Inc., Box, Bespoke Metrics Inc., Document Crunch, Join, Egnyte, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) among others, and the importance of working together to reach the next shared summit. Sharing that stage with Larry, Michael, and Kris and celebrating the incredible work of our partner ecosystem was a moment I’ll never forget. I’m especially grateful to Paul Lyandres and Meg Baldini for the opportunity to be part of this exciting next chapter of Procore and to our team Jeremy Chasen, Matthew Kolar, Elizabeth O'Bryen, Chris Black, Hannah Lund, Christopher Slaymaker, and Nicolette Tarantino as well as our wonderful marketing and events team for all of their hard work that made Groundbreak possible.? Muench Jr. referenced in Matthew Thibault's Construction Dive article on "The do's and don'ts of running a tech pilot." The Boldt Company's Patrick Whaley is used to big challenges, but this was a different matter entirely. Patrick and his design-build partners--which included Boulder Associates, Mazzetti, and Mark III Construction, Inc. -- were charged with building a new prefab + modular MOB (medical office building), as well as creating a template for all the client's MOBs going forward. They used Join, the collaborative project delivery platform, for decision making and tracking. “The way we used to do it, we would just put it all into a massive Excel spreadsheet,” says Whaley. “With Join, TVD budgets are easier to track.” Read how the team collaborated from napkin sketch to closeout to meet the client's expectations for this complex project.
