Leveling up at the Women in Hospitality Conference! ?? Our team joined inspiring women from all parts of the hospitality industry in a day of seminars and breakout sessions hosted by the Delaware Restaurant Association. Our founder, Jenny Just, was invited to the stage as a keynote speaker, where she shared her journey and how learning poker can empower women+ in their careers and daily lives. Afterwards, Poker Power had an amazing poker workshop with tons of "aha" moments. Big thank you to the Delaware Restaurant Association for inviting us. We built connections and challenged the norms. Here's to playing life differently!

This past week, we welcomed the incredible Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago at the PEAK6 office for a Poker Power workshop. We had tons of fun with the Big and Little matches! Big Brothers Big Sisters is a nationwide organization that builds one-to-one mentoring relationships to help young people reach their potential. By matching kids, often from underserved communities, with caring adult mentors, they create lasting positive change through support and guidance. This mission aligns perfectly with Poker Power’s focus on building skills like critical thinking, resilience, and confidence. Thank you to everyone that spent the afternoon learning their potential through poker.

We have one rule this week: CONFIDENCE. This is what will get you into the rooms you want. Let’s face it, sometimes you have to fake it with confidence and figure it out along the way. Confidence is a muscle that can be flexed at the poker table this week, whether on the Poker Power app or at an IRL table.
