Today’s marketing leaders are navigating a rapidly evolving landscape. Short-term pipeline pressure often overshadows long-term brand building. The CMO’s influence is being challenged, and proving marketing’s true impact is more complex than ever. Yet the best CMOs are redefining what it means to drive growth. They balance brand and demand, elevate marketing beyond sales enablement, and prove that real marketing isn’t just about generating leads. When executed effectively, marketing becomes the driving force behind sustainable success. That’s why we’re proud to unveil Pavilion’s list of 50 CMOs to Watch in 2025. This list celebrates the revolutionary marketing leaders who are pushing boundaries, driving change, and proving that marketing is so much more than just pipeline generation. #Marketing #Leadership

Even successful companies can hit a wall. When Anna Talerico stepped in as CEO of Corporate Finance Institute? (CFI), the business was already profitable with great products and a talented team. But something was missing—operational rigor. Unlike B2B SaaS, where urgency is baked into the DNA, online education can thrive without tight operational rigor. But Anna knew that if CFI wanted to scale, it needed better systems, clearer accountability, and a faster rhythm. So how did she shift the culture, implement company-wide sprints, and get the entire org moving in sync? We cover all of this and more in the latest episode of Topline Spotlight. Tune in to learn: ? Why great companies still struggle with execution ? How to introduce structure and speed without adding bureaucracy ? The key to aligning cross-functional teams for faster decision-making Available now on your favorite podcast platform. Ever hear this in an interview? “Just run the same playbook you did at your last company.” ?? On this week’s Revenue Leadership Podcast, Nealesh Patel, CRO of Crunchbase, sat down with Kyle Norton to unpack what revenue leaders should really be evaluating when choosing their next role. ? Is the company actually solving the right problem? ? Is the executive team aligned on where the puck is going? ? Will you need to grow—or just repeat? Last night was one of those conversations I didn’t know I needed... I had the joy of hosting “Finding Balance: A Wine & Wisdom Evening for Executive Women” with the Pavilion Women of Atlanta, and let me just say—it was real. We sipped wine and talked about what it actually takes to balance leadership, life, family, ambition, and everything in between. The conversation centered around my favorite "B word"... BOUNDARIES! Two quotes that stuck with us: ??? “Your boundaries teach people how to treat you.” ??? “It’s easier to set them early than to retrain people later.” What made this event special was the intimacy—everyone had a seat at the table, and every voice was heard. No panels, no scripts, just genuine connection and collective wisdom. We left with more than just insight—we shared vacation recs, tech tips for syncing family and work life, book suggestions, frameworks for protecting our energy, and some solid reminders to give ourselves permission to pause. If you’re a Pavilion member, don’t sleep on the resources available to you. Pavilion offers a LOT to its members—it can be hard to keep up with everything you have access to. Two resources came up last night that most attendees hadn’t even realized were available. So in the spirit of each one, teach one, I’m sharing them here: ?? Outward Performance for Leaders – a course focused on leading with authenticity and resilience ?? Legal Hotline – access to vetted attorneys for both personal and professional needs If you’re juggling a lot (and let’s be honest, who isn’t?), I hope this serves as a little nudge to reset, protect your peace, and lean into community. Today my heart is full ?? Gina Lim, Meagan Lloyd, Cindy Curtin Knezevich, Sheraun Britton-Parris, Amber Williams, and Marnie Curbow it was so great to meet you all. Leah Russo and Jessica Garrett, MBA as always it was a pleasure to see you.

I love to learn on an ongoing basis.???Proud to say that I completed Pavilion’s CCO School final exam.??Here's some of my takeaways (mostly paraphrased): - Specifically defining CS -- it is "about helping your customers achieve their desired outcomes through their interactions with your company."??So true! I've touted this for a long time, but simply telling them it's working doesn't work. Values and outcomes are what matter. - Health Scores can quickly become beasts.??Realize you can't measure everything and pick the data points that matter so that you can prescribe specific actions for your teams! - Monetizing CS, specifically the value, is critical for long-term success.??"Free" is perceived to have no value. - Potentially controversial - "double comping sales and CS for customer growth".??I liked this idea, although it can be a challenge to make happen. ?It drives alignment between CS and sales plus gives the CS team a reason to be a driver of Customer Led Growth beyond "because I said so". There were lots more topics and some great content shared by the presenters. In addition, I'm in the process of taking their live Customer-Centric Growth course and reviewing others as well. #Learning #PersonalDevelopment #PersonalGrowth #Certification

Happy hour. Salon dinner. Women’s lunch. Hockey. What a great way to start the year for Pavilion DC! One thing I love about being a chapter head for Pavilion DC is the mix of meeting a new member every time we have an event, and keeping up with the relationships built over time. We support each other by celebrating each other’s wins, commiserating over a frustrating experience, and making recommendations or introductions where possible. Thanks to all who have joined our Q1 events: ? A lively salon dinner around company culture, dashboards and metrics, and first-time founders. ? A happy hour talking about team transitions and hyping up someone ahead of a final interview (which resulted in an offer!). ? Our first women’s lunch with discussions around team dynamics, remote work, and Q1 challenges. ? Our first hockey game and a Capitals win! ?? What's next: ??? Customer Success lunch and learn ??? Root, root, rooting for the home team ??? Happy hours, of course ??? More lunches with ladies I continue to be humbled and honored to be part of this community, and can’t wait for the upcoming CMO Summit in Atlanta and GTM Summit in DC! Jason Moore
