Happy St. Peter Faber Feast Day! It is a special day for us at John Patrick Publishing as we honor one of the legendary founders of the Jesuits. St. Peter Faber is lesser known than his counterparts, St. Ignatius of Loyola and St. Francis Xavier, but he may well have had a greater influence upon building strong communities than anyone else throughout history.??Born in 1506, he understood the role of business, especially hyper local entrepreneurs, in strengthening societies and alleviating poverty. Faber’s vision of business is inspiring as he values the greater reverberations of dedicating time and effort into one’s own community, employing others and contributing to the overall well-being of society.??He believed that populations functioned the best when the Church and businesses worked together for greater good of everyone.
