Next Monday, March 24th join our friends with Native Lands Restoration Collaborative, Bur Oak Ventures, the city of Overland Park, and Johnson County Stormwater as they share educational presentations for contractors on the importance of native landscapes, working with native plants to create rain gardens, and collaborating with homeowners and city staff to utilize the Contain the Rain cost-share program. This new workshop will dive into the details of planning rain gardens, working with native plants and utilizing the Contain The Rain cost-share programs offered through cities in Johnson County, KS. The Growing Growers farm apprenticeship program is accepting applications until March 1st, 2025! Growing Growers is a decentralized program wherein apprentices engage in hands-on farm work at their host farm, receive 12-month access to an extensive online course, and attend a series of in-person workshops and farm tours throughout the growing season.
