In a vibrant celebration of innovation and entrepreneurship, JobsFirstNYC’s partner, the Jerome Avenue Revitalization Collaborative (JARC) gathered for a Business Empowerment Breakfast, Workshop, and Resource Fair to support small business owners and local startups in the Bronx. The event, hosted at WHEDco, brought together a diverse mix of small business owners, entrepreneurs, the New York City Police Department and local leaders focused on achieving three main goals to drive impact and innovation: - Connecting with community-based agencies supporting small businesses and residents, - Speaking directly with on-site financial advisors and lawyers, and - Participating in workshops covering community safety, merchant leadership, and becoming loan-ready. The gathering showcased the #resilience and #creativity of Bronx businesses, encouraging everyone to shop local, explore local resources, and invest in their neighborhood’s economic vitality. ?????
