Say hello to Julianna Nguyen! She has been with UHS for almost three years as an Application Analyst on the IT Governance and Compliance team within the Enterprise Technical Services Department (IS Operations). “I chose UHS because I was drawn to the company's commitment to quality healthcare and its supportive work environment. The opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects and collaborate with passionate professionals was a significant factor in my decision,” she shared. Julianna says the most rewarding part of her job is knowing that her work supports the delivery of excellent healthcare services. “It's fulfilling to see how our efforts in IS contribute to the overall success of the organization. With our team being process-focused and solution-oriented, it’s rewarding to see the impact our work has and the positive outcomes to our users in the field,” she explained. This Veterans Day, we want to recognize Desktop Support Technician II Chris Rivera for his service. Chris served in the U.S. Marine Corps for eight years as an Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Operator. “My military experience as a UAS operator provided numerous opportunities to enhance my technical skills with various aircraft platforms while also allowing me to mentor and teach entry-level Marines the fundamentals of aircraft operations,” Chris shared. Chris has been with UHS for almost two years and says the most rewarding part of his job is assisting others with technology. “Helping people navigate technical challenges and solving problems not only brings me satisfaction but also makes a positive impact on their work and experiences which in turn makes for a positive patient experience at our facilities,” he said. He joined UHS because he was drawn to the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that prioritizes patient care. “UHS having multiple IT departments on-site was a significant factor for me, as it fosters collaboration and innovation in supporting healthcare facilities. Contributing to a team that impacts patient care through effective technology solutions is incredibly fulfilling and motivating,” he explained. We are celebrating National Boss's Day! Today, we want to highlight two of our Accounting Department employees Kelly Kutsch, Assistant Director – Accounts Payable Services, and Colleen McMenamin, Assistant Director – Support Services. Kelly has been with UHS for over 13 years and Colleen recently marked 11 years with UHS. Kelly chose to work at UHS because she was looking for a company to grow her career. “Through my research and the interview process I felt that UHS would be the best place for me to be able to continually learn and grow,” Kelly shared. Colleen tells us she also wanted a place where she could advance, and she was convinced of the chance to do so at UHS. So what do they find most rewarding about their jobs? “I really enjoy troubleshooting, working on process improvements, and developing new/future processes for the department. It is for this reason that I find it rewarding when I’m able to utilize these responsibilities by being able to develop and educate the team with ways to improve our current processes and/or provide a solution to an issue being encountered,” Kelly explained. Colleen says she likes working with and educating the field through providing process improvements and she enjoys her coworkers! A fun fact about Kelly is that during her free time, she enjoys doing various crafts and playing the piano. A fun fact about Colleen is she has progressed six times in her career at UHS! Say hello to Tony Morisset, Jr.! ?? Tony has been with UHS for nine years. During his tenure, he has transitioned through various roles within the organization. Tony currently works in the Marketing Department as the SEO Manager. He leads a team that is responsible for managing SEO efforts, aimed at optimizing search engine rankings and simplifying the search process for potential patients. “I chose UHS because I was impressed by the opportunities for career growth and development that UHS offers its employees. To have the chance to be a part of UHS, one of the nation's most respected hospital management companies, was an opportunity that I simply couldn't pass by,” Tony shared. He says the most rewarding part of his job is knowing that he can help patients find medical and mental health services at a UHS facility via search engines. According to Google, there are 70,000 health-related searches per minute. “In critical situations where people need to find a healthcare facility quickly, the work of my team helps raise UHS' presence on Google, offering individuals the option to visit their website and connect with a UHS facility for necessary treatment,” Tony said. “It’s rewarding that in a world where individuals often resort to the internet to access healthcare information, UHS’ facilities have 70,000 chances per minute to show up on Google due to the various strategies that my team executes daily.” Fun fact!
