With the seasons turning and warmer weather arriving check out our recent drone footage of our team’s progress. Notable progress includes wrapping up mass excavation, ongoing of underground plumbing, pouring slab on grade, and we have officially started framing. JNC is continuing with our ‘Meet the Team’ series. We are excited to introduce you to the awesome people who make JN Contracting a valuable business partner and a great place to work. Please meet our Construction Executive – Cory Jackson Cory oversees multiple JNC project teams including assistance with our pre-construction development of new projects, as well as providing oversight of our construction management teams for on-going and past projects. - He has many years of experience in both the commercial and multi-family construction sectors. Some of his past career achievements include leading the RDO Company Headquarters fit up in the RDO Tower, Sanford Fargo Medical Center, as well as the successful completion of nearly 1,000 apartment units across the country. What he enjoys most about construction is the daily excitement and challenges that the industry brings and building structures that have a positive impact on local communities for generations to come. He also enjoys anything outdoors, hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. Cory and his wife welcomed their first son this past June.

Progress update from our affordable housing project in Cheyenne, WY, Robins Point Apartments! Check out the progress our trade partners have made on each building over the last couple of weeks. Building A - interior paint/texture is ongoing and we have gypcrete scheduled for next week in preparation for the installation of our cabinets and interior millwork. The exterior work on Building A is wrapping up with the last bit of siding. Building B – drywall has been completed on 1st and 2nd floor and crews are starting tape, texture, and painting. Building C – mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) trades are working to wrap up rough in activities by the end of next week. The Clubhouse framing is complete, while MEP trades are starting to mobilize into this building for the rough in stage. CR Builders, LLC Andrew Ruben

Check out the progress on our NEX Senior Housing project in Fargo, ND. Cabinet install is complete, and MEP trim out is underway on 4th floor with flooring and door installation scheduled to start next week. 3rd floor is fully painted, gypcrete is complete, and cabinet install is scheduled for next week. Drywall is sanded on 2nd floor and walls are ready to texture and paint. MEP rough in is cruising along in the parking garage and mother nature finally let us resume exterior work this week. Our project team has done a great job establishing the construction flow and our trade partners have stepped up to set the pace. Please meet our Administrative Assistant – Samantha McMahon. Samantha has worked at JNC for a year and a half. She assists with administrative tasks, social media, website content, coordinating and maintaining records for all projects, and much more. What she most likes about construction is seeing the week-to-week progress and seeing the finished product at the end. She enjoys spending time with her family, going on motorcycle rides and quilting.

Check out this time-lapse video showing the creative solutions by our project team and trade partners to battle brutal winter conditions on the hill in Mandan. Notable progress includes ripping frost to complete over 75% of the mass excavation, tenting the foundation walls to allow backfill operations (see video), pouring concrete foundations any chance mother nature allows, and starting underground plumbing. This project has been a testament to our project team and collaboration of our trade partners to sequence and plan their work to achieve success through winter construction! Building C- mechanical, plumbing, and electrical (MEP) trades are working together on rough-in. The Clubhouse framing is complete, while plumbing and HVAC rough in is coming along.
