We have been hard at work finishing the Immerse stage and moving to the Reframe stage. Our team of highly-collaborative students have been ensuring inclusivity in their primary research, while also learning the intricacies of each design-thinking phase. Almost halfway there... ?? ??

We run workshops, information sessions, and full-scale design projects throughout the school year, both independently and in partnership with other student orgs and departments. Our team @ JHU/MICA just officially began our first consulting project for the year!??? We have six students, from three different degree programs, who will be working together to understand the possible product spaces for a startup focused around planning tools for neurodiverse individuals. We cannot wait to see how the project progresses!???

Remember, design-thinking is being used frequently, even when you may not know you're using it! Here are some thoughts presented by participants during our session today... ?? How do you define the preconceived notion of the data you observed? ?? We all have different needs as users at different points in our life. ?? How do we represent the atypical users? ??
