Ensure all temporary heat is located in a secure location, a safe distance away from materials that can be flammable ?? Inspect Fire Extinguishers on a regular cadence to confirm they're opperable? ?? Review your fire evacuation plan with your team and ensure emergency contact information stays updated Together, let's make fire prevention a priority so we can keep our job sites safe and secure all season long!

The Maybell Diversion Restoration Project has been honored with both the 2024 American Public Works Association Colorado Chapter Award and the Engineering News-Record Mountain States Excellence in Safety Award! ?? The APWA award highlights exceptional projects across Colorado, with Maybell recognized for its outstanding contributions in the environmental category. Equally significant is the ENR Safety Award, which is especially meaningful given the challenges the project faced—high elevation, rugged terrain, remote location, extreme winter conditions, and environmental complexities. Despite these obstacles, we maintained the highest safety standards, resulting in zero accidents or incidents. We’re incredibly proud of the collaboration, innovation, and ingenuity that made this project a success, and we're thrilled to see it celebrated. Great job, team! We’re thrilled to celebrate two highly impactful projects for the East Grand School District which opened to students earlier this summer: Fraser Valley Elementary School and Middle Park High School! Designed by Hord Coplan Macht and MA Studios, these projects reflect a strong commitment to expanding and modernizing educational spaces for students and faculty. From new athletic fields and renovations at Middle Park High School to the classroom addition and upgrades at Fraser Valley Elementary, these schools are ready to support the community's growing needs. Adam Fernan, JHL Construction Executive, summed it up perfectly: "It's been an honor to work on these projects and to deliver facilities that will support Grand County’s rising growth.
