?? Celebrating 5 Years of Impact at JH Philanthropy! ?? ? This month marks a significant milestone for us as we celebrate five years of helping philanthropists, families, foundations, and corporations transform their passion into meaningful action. Thanks to everyone who came out to celebrate with us this week! ? Since launching in 2019, we’ve had the privilege of: ? - Collaborating with 31 clients and 46 families on nonprofit-centered philanthropy - Advising or facilitating over $125M in community investments nationwide - Launching or revitalizing 15 family foundations and giving vehicle strategies - Working with the MacArthur Foundation and our team of consultants on the Philanthropy Data Commons - Overseeing The Chicago Giving Circle with 17 families - Partnering on the launch of five nonprofits, including impactful initiatives like Hope Chicago, MOD Collective, and Vivery.org - Providing strategic coaching to numerous foundation CEOs and trustees ? Today, we continue our journey, working closely with 15 active clients and leading grantmaking efforts for seven families and foundations. We are honored to play a role in bringing these legacies to life and driving capital to communities and movements that inspire change. ? Congratulations to The Chicago Giving Circle's newest grantees Breakthrough and The Bloc. Both organizations will receive $300,000 in funding over the next three years, in addition to partnership and support from CGC members! JH Philanthropy is proud to have partnered with CGC's members over the past four years to bring this vision to life and facilitate the members' learning, engagement, and grantmaking. CGC members have contributed close to $1,000,000 to our community through multi-year grants to Sunshine Enterprises (2022 - 2024), The Dovetail Project Chicago (2023 - 2025), Chicago HOPES for Kids (2023 - 2025), and now Breakthrough and The Bloc (both 2024 - 2026). #givingcircle #philanthropy #chicago #socialentrepreneurs

Last week, Grace Willig attended the quarterly social gathering for the Family Business Center, Loyola University Chicago! It was a privilege to meet so many incredible families and showcase our work on building a successful system of effective family philanthropy.
