Since the 1940s, JFS has embedded mental health supports into all of our programming from KesherKC, the food pantry, Jewish Life, and Older Adult Services. This morning we witnessed history as Jackson County Executive Frank White signed the order to put the Senior Levy on the November ballot. This property tax has the potential of generating $8-$10M annually to support older adult services in Jackson County, ensuring more people have access to home-delivered meals, senior centers, transportation, and other critical supports. Please vote YES in November so Jackson County can join 55 other Missouri counties that have a senior levy already in place to help their older population. #seniorscount https://lnkd.in/gftAcj75
