They will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with other community resources to meet client needs. ??The Child Therapist will play a pivotal role in growing our children’s therapy program with therapeutic services for children ages 5-19 grounded in trauma-informed, evidence-based treatments. They will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with parents or caregivers to promote the child’s well-being. ??The Controller plays a primary role in managing and ensuring the integrity of financial operations of JFS, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and nonprofit accounting standards for this agency with an annual operating budget of more than $5 million. This position will play a key role in financial strategy, budgeting, month-end, quarterly and annual reporting, and safeguarding the organization’s financial health to support its mission-driven activities.

Since the 1940s, JFS has embedded mental health supports into all of our programming from KesherKC, the food pantry, Jewish Life, and Older Adult Services.
